WAL, LUBMIN
H2APEX, together with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is developing the “WaL – Wasserstoff aus Lubmin” (Hydrogen from Lubmin) project in Lubmin, Germany. In the first expansion phase, 100 MW of green electrolysis capacity will be installed. The total potential of the site amounts to 600 MW. The plant sources its green electricity directly from offshore wind energy in the Baltic Sea. The green hydrogen will be fed into GASCADE‘s operational hydrogen pipeline, “Flow“. Starting in 2029, the target is an annual production of 10,000 tons of green hydrogen.
On behalf of the owner and the permit designer, convex ZT GmbH prepared the tender for the plant integrator.
