CHP PUCHSTRASSE, GRAZ
The Ausfallsreserve Puchstrasse (ARP) in Graz shall serve the generation of peak load of the district heating needs of the city of Graz as well as back-up equipment in case of failure of other grid-feeding heat generation plants. The natural gas-fired hot water boiler systems are located in a fully enclosed hall made of reinforced concrete. In a separate reinforced concrete structure, the gas reducing station, the transformers, the electrical and process control systems as well as power circulation pumps are situated.
On behalf of the client, Energie Steiermark AG, convex ZT GmbH was responsible as a nominated sub-designer of Pöyry GmbH for the basic- and permit design and the tender of the civil works of the buildings, landscaping and railway crossing.
